How I operate with agents today

For 25 years the answer to “we need to ship more” was to hire. Today it is the way of working. This is what we do at Simón every day:

  • Agents build tasks in parallel, and the specs live in the repository so they know how to decide.
  • Every PR goes through three automated reviewers: security, quality and whether the acceptance criteria are met.
  • A person decides where it matters: product before building, high-risk changes and QA before release.
  • Logged bugs and production errors come back as a PR with their root cause.
  • Refinement agents turn a requirement into something buildable, and support agents reach the root cause of a report and say how sure they are.

Writing

I write about what changes for the people who lead: what the CEO decides, what happens to the tech lead, and how to bring a team to work with agents.
