I've led engineering teams for more than 25 years. For almost all of that time I scaled with headcount. Today I scale output.
At Rappi I was VP of Engineering: I led architecture, core services and the e-commerce partners platform, with more than 100 engineers. At Drift I was Sr Director of Engineering: I opened the Mexico operation in Guadalajara, grew the team from 3 to 35 people in under 2 years, and ran the Extensibility, DevOps and SRE teams.
Today I'm CTO of Simón, a B2B training platform in production with enterprise clients across Mexico and Latin America. We run it with agents: we ship 2 to 3 releases a week without hiring more developers. Agents build, the team decides.
Through PeakSyn, the studio I founded, I help other teams work this way. I'm not selling a tool: I share the system I run every day, with its checkpoints and what it still doesn't solve.
